Bariatric Surgery
Dr. Thomas Borland is a board-certified general surgeon with an emphasis on bariatric surgery. He graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans in 1978 and completed his post-graduate training at LSU Medical SchoolNew Orleans: General Surgery in 1982. He attended additional training in Bariatric Surgery at the Bi-County Community hospital in 2002, St. Peters University Hospital in 2001, and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2000, where he also received additional training in laparoscopic surgery.
